Service boundaries
CryptoCompanion provides portfolio tracking, trading journal, alerting, tax-report preparation, research, affiliate, and account-management software for crypto users. CryptoCompanion does not execute trades, provide custody, run DeFi transactions, or offer broker, exchange, investment adviser, tax adviser, or legal-adviser services.
Information shown in the product is for general information and personal organization only. Users remain responsible for checking any information before making financial, tax, or account decisions.
Accounts and security
Users are responsible for maintaining access to their account, protecting passwords, and using read-only exchange API keys. Exchange credentials should never include trading, withdrawal, transfer, margin, or futures permissions.
CryptoCompanion may suspend or restrict accounts that create security risk, violate acceptable-use rules, attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse affiliate flows, or interfere with the service.
Plans billing and cancellations
Free and paid plan limits are controlled by the current pricing page and in-app billing surfaces. Paid billing is stubbed until a production payment gateway is selected and reviewed.
Before real charges are enabled, these terms must define renewal cadence, refund rules, cancellation timing, invoice handling, failed-payment handling, and taxes.
Acceptable use
Users must not upload unlawful material, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer private APIs, overload the service, scrape protected data, resell account access, or use CryptoCompanion to facilitate fraud, market manipulation, or credential theft.
Disclaimers
Crypto markets are volatile. Portfolio values, prices, research output, alerts, and generated reports can be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Users should not rely on CryptoCompanion as the only source for trading, tax, accounting, compliance, or legal decisions.
